The patented, Australian designed and made Steel Shroud is the main component of an anti theft device called Padlock Protection.
The patented Steel Shroud was designed and tested during 2003. Product launch in February 2004 and our first sale was to a client in Sydney Australia in March 2004. Since then we have sold countless numbers of Padlock Protection throughout Australia plus to the UK, USA, many countries in Europe plus a couple of countries we have never heard of previously.

The Steel Shroud is made from high quality steel and manufactured using the latest CNC technology and finally Zinc plated with a gold passovated finish to protect it from climatic conditions.
The patented Steel Shroud completely encloses the padlock body, its shackle and both ends of 10mm (3/8 inch) diameter, Freight 70 High Tensile Chain.

To enable the Caravan Wheel Clamp to fit all diameter and width wheels from the smallest trailer up to a wheel on the largest caravan or motor home and all size wheels in between we supply one standard length of chain.
If purchasing the Protector or Enforcer supplying one length of chain is fine as any extra length can hang in front of the Steel Shield as seen in the following pictures.

As the Supreme includes the patented Steel Shroud to lock this security system both the ends of the high tensile chain must to be placed in both sides of the Steel Shroud, as seen in the picture to your right. Therefore the chain has to be cut to the exact length required for the vehicle's wheel it is going to be fitted to.

Answer: Yes it can. As we have said a few times on other pages of this Web Site Buy It, Use It. The Supreme without the Steel Shroud is the security option called, Enforcer.
