Why We Designed The Caravan Wheel Clamp

Since February 2004 we have been manufacturing and selling a high security, patented locking system that replaces a Padlock and Chain called Padlock Protection.

Padlock Protection consists of:

	Patented Steel Shroud
	Abus Padlock ( Abus 83/45 Padlock )
	10mm diameter High Tensile Chain that cannot be cut with a Bolt Cutter, Hack Saw or any other non powered hand-held metal cutting tool. Included with the Enforcer and Supreme.

Padlock Protection is purchased to secure double gates together, a single gate to a post or anything that requires a Padlock and Chain to protect it.

Due to the success of Padlock Protection we decided to design and manufacture another security product that includes Padlock Protection unique high security features.

This is how Caravan Wheel Clamp
came to exist.

During the designing process of the Caravan Wheel Clamp we did not want to just make another Wheel Clamp. WHY! No point copying other designs especially when they have flaws.

Wheel clamps manufactured world-wide are designed the same way. They have three adjustable arms that wrap around the width of the tyre. This design has problems for both the purchaser and the reseller / retail outlet.

Purchaser

	Has to measure the diameter and width of their Wheel before they purchase a Wheel Clamp.
	Find a retailer that sells a Wheel Clamp to fit their Wheel.
	After purchasing there maybe adjustments to make.
	Cannot use the Wheel Clamp on another Vehicle with a different diameter and width Wheel.

Reseller / Retail Outlet

	They have to decided which size or sizes of wheel clamps to keep in stock.
	If they decide to keep stock of wheel clamps that will fit most standard diameter and width wheels it means a large out lay of cash to purchase the wheel clamps from the manufacturer or wholesaler, dedicated shelving and floor space to display all the different size wheel clamps.
	Employee training to learn about the various size wheel clamps and which vehicles each will fit.

As you can imagine there was no point for us to manufacturer a product that is just the same as others with their inherent flaws.

2.	To design a Wheel Clamp that will fit all diameter and width wheels from the smallest Wheel on a Trailer Tent up to the largest Wheel on a Caravan or Motor Home without having to adjust anything.

4.	No welded parts.
5.	No bolts or screws used.
6.	To manufacture not only a multipurpose and secure Wheel Clamp but also manufacture it to specifications that would allow us to give a 10 Year Guarantee on materials and workmanship.
